Peter Penseel Joins The Supervisory Board Of Maastricht Aachen Airport

Maastricht Aachen Airport (MAA) welcomes Peter Penseel to its Supervisory Board.

Penseel is the fourth member to join the airport's new Council and brings with him more than 30 years of experience in air freight.

Penseel, who is president of Delta Airlines Cargo, brings more than 30 years of experience in air freight, including leadership roles at Qatar Airways, DHL Global Forwarding, UTi and CEVA Logistics.

In 2023, Royal Schiphol Group, together with the Province of Limburg, joined NV HBLM as a shareholder and has now decided, on the recommendation of the Maastricht Aachen Airport Works Council, to appoint Penseel as the fourth member of the Supervisory Board.

"Maastricht Aachen Airport is looking forward to the future with a new CEO Joost Meijs, who will start next month and a robust plan for the further development of our cargo," said Jonas van Stekelenburg, CEO of Maastricht Aachen Airport.

"Peter's strong track record in air freight strengthens our new Supervisory Board and we look forward to his help drive new initiatives for our cargo offering."
