Qatar Airways Cargo and Airlink Deliver Humanitarian Aid

Qatar Airways Cargo has reaffirmed its partnership with Airlink and its network of non-profit organizations to deliver critical aid to vulnerable communities around the world.

Over the past five years, Qatar Airways Cargo has transported 720 tonnes of life-saving aid pro bono, supporting Airlink and 42 of its non-profit partners. These efforts have helped reach over 15.5 million people in 34 countries.

As part of its WeQare programme, Qatar Airways Cargo continues to provide essential logistics support to humanitarian organizations. In 2024 alone, the airline shipped 136 tonnes of critical supplies free of charge, supporting Airlink and 16 NGO partners across 12 countries. The aid included vital medical supplies, clean water systems, and shelter materials.

These shipments saved NGOs USD $2.19 million in logistics costs in 2024 funds that were redirected to scale up life-saving programs on the ground. In total, over USD $6.59 million in logistics savings has been enabled through this partnership since its inception.
