Avianca Cargo announced the launch of its cargo operations between Bogotá and Caracas starting Saturday, March 7, reinforcing its commitment to connectivity and the development of trade between Colombia and Venezuela.
The route was operated using an Airbus A330 Freighter, with a capacity of 60 tons per flight. This offering is complemented by Avianca’s passenger service on narrow-body aircraft, which provides an additional 7 tons of weekly cargo capacity.
The launch of this operation strengthens the value proposition of Avianca Cargo in the region by expanding its operational capacity and offering more efficient and reliable logistics solutions for importers. It also boosts commercial exchange between the two markets.
“With this new cargo operation between Colombia and Venezuela, Avianca Cargo strengthens logistics flows between the two countries and expands air freight transport options in the region. The first direct operation between Bogotá and Caracas will have a weekly frequency, with plans to gradually increase capacity depending on market demand,” said Diogo Elías, CEO of Avianca Cargo.
Through this initiative, Avianca Cargo continues expanding its network and strengthening its capacity to connect strategic markets while supporting the growth of trade between Colombia and Venezuela.
