Thilo Schmid took up his position as new President and CEO of Flughafen Köln/Bonn GmbH. Together with Managing Director and CFO Torsten Schrank, the 46-year-old business studies graduate forms the management at Cologne Bonn Airport.
“The war in Ukraine is of great concern to all of us and my start at Cologne Bonn Airport is marked by current events. Nevertheless, I am confident and happy to start my new, exciting task. With its two business segments of passenger traffic and cargo, Cologne Bonn Airport is in a very good position and has a great deal of development potential,” Thilo Schmid said.
