Hactl Releases Annual Sustainability Report

Hactl has published its annual Sustainability Report, detailing its actions and achievements over the past year.

Throughout 2025, Hactl focused on optimising its operations and empowering its people through practical, frontline‑led initiatives, enhanced training and robust governance. Major highlights included progress toward its Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) commitments through the signing of an MOU with Shell on renewable diesel in Hong Kong, enabling the adoption of hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) to reduce emissions. The year also saw a series of new initiatives including the launch of Hactl Think Park, a revamped training centre and innovation hub that earned a BEAM Plus BI V2.0 Platinum rating for its eco-friendly design, energy-saving features, and use of upcycled materials.

The report also underscores Hactl’s belief that meaningful impact is driven by collaboration — with employees, customers, community partners and local creatives. Highlights include inclusive community initiatives such as the 10th Annual Green Week, the Zero‑Waste Uniform Upcycling Project, and its ongoing partnership with Free Periods Hong Kong delivering the city’s largest menstrual‑equity event supporting migrant domestic workers. This collaborative approach is further reflected in the report’s creative dimension, which features works by four local artists — Don Mak, Alex Chan, Venus Lo, Enoch Wong — illustrating Hactl’s sustainability journey and its continued support for the local arts community.
