Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited has partnered with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) as a Strategic Partner to showcase home-grown fashion designers at the iconic Paris Fashion Week Men’s Spring/Summer 2027. This cross-sector initiative aims to enhance global exposure for Hong Kong designers while highlighting the essential role of air cargo in the global fashion supply chain, underscoring Hactl’s support for key industry partner and sustainability goals.
As the first air cargo terminal operator in Hong Kong to serve as a Strategic Partner of HKTDC at a premier global fashion event, Hactl joined hands with HKTDC to present the collections of 10+ Hong Kong designer labels at the Hong Kong Designers Showroom from 24–28 June 2026. These eco-conscious designs spotlighted the creative vibrancy of Hong Kong’s fashion talent while promoting sustainable values. Selected Hong Kong designers also co-created original pieces with Paris-based artist Yaz Bukey, with these works debuting at the Showroom.
Apart from the designers’ showcase, Hactl has also set up a dedicated showcase in collaboration with Sing-chin Lo, a Hong Kong homegrown designer behind Hactl’s eco-friendly uniforms. The showcase features Hactl’s frontline staff uniforms made with eco-friendly materials, ready-to-wear pieces derived from both new and retired uniforms, alongside a curated selection of creative souvenirs upcycled from Hactl’s retired uniforms. The display demonstrated how innovative design can give retired uniforms a second life, capturing the attention of international fashion professionals while offering a tangible example of circular sustainability in corporate operations.
To foster networking and exchange, a reception and an exclusive Hong Kong Fashion Night dinner were held, bringing together leaders from the aviation and fashion industries, along with media and influencers.
Across the event, Hactl engaged industry stakeholders, including buyers, retailers and the media. This strategic engagement facilitated Hong Kong brands to secure pre-season orders, while highlighting how the air cargo industry enables collections to reach international buyers with speed and precision.
Hactl Chief Executive Frosti Lau remarked: “Hactl is deeply rooted in Hong Kong and globally connected. This pioneering cross-sector collaboration has injected fresh momentum into our local fashion industry, empowering Hong Kong designers to shine on an international stage while showcasing the city’s creative soft power. It also underscores the critical role of air cargo in enabling the fast, reliable movement of high-value fashion goods — from high-end collections to fashion-led e-commerce — across global markets.”
“As a key player in the aviation and logistics industry, we are committed to driving sustainable innovation, reducing emissions and promoting circularity. This includes initiatives such as our Zero-waste Uniform Upcycling project, the use of eco-friendly materials in staff uniforms, and our support for cross-sector collaborations like the Hong Kong Designers Showroom at Paris Fashion Week, which promotes sustainable fashion and global collaboration. Through these efforts, we aim to connect creativity with global markets while advancing sustainable practices, reinforcing Hong Kong’s position as a globally connected hub for innovation, sustainability, and commerce.”
