ECS Group’s French subsidiary, Globe Air Cargo France’s partnership with Air China began three decades ago, this year.
“The transformation that Air China has made over the past thirty years, is astounding. When the partnership with Globe Air Cargo France was originally signed in 1996, Air China was not yet operating its own aircraft to France. Instead, an agreement existed for cargo capacity on Air France’s passenger and cargo services to China,” says Jean Ceccaldi, Chief Executive Officer of ECS Group. “Air China’s cargo business developed very quickly, and Globe Air Cargo France was also on hand to support the transition to the launch of its Air China Cargo subsidiary in 2003. The result today, is a solid relationship built on trust, a shared vision for excellence and growth, and a strong and established Air China Cargo brand in France and Europe.”
“Globe Air Cargo France’s responsibility today extends beyond the daily passenger flights out of Paris Charles de Gaulle to Beijing and the weekly operation to Chengdu. We also ensure optimum load factors on Air China Cargo’s daily freighter flights out of Amsterdam, Frankfurt and Liège,” states Franck Tordjman, Managing Director of Globe Air Cargo France. “Our objective is always to maximise cargo sales and meet the market’s demand for capacity. We have enjoyed excellent working relationships with all of Air China Cargo’s cargo managers over the years, and that cooperation has driven impressive results. The operational and commercial strength of Globe Air has enabled us to offer a service that is unmatched compared to our competitors.”
