Coyne Airways has appointed Mondial Airline Services GmbH as its General Sales Agent in Germany, effective 17 April 2025, marking a strategic partnership with a proven cargo expert in one of Europe’s key markets. This new alliance brings together a unique air cargo carrier with over three decades of trusted service and a GSA partner renowned for its local market strength, agility, and commitment to quality.
The agreement focuses on Coyne Airways’ two weekly direct Boeing 767 freighter services from Liège to Tbilisi (TBS), Georgia, and Yerevan (EVN), Armenia, operating on Sundays and Tuesdays. Mondial handles the coordination of key trucking links to and from Frankfurt, ensuring smooth cargo flows of automotive parts, healthcare products, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, and foodstuffs. Beyond the Caucasus, the contract also includes Coyne’s expansive Gulf service, which connects via Sharjah (SHJ) and Dubai (DWC) to more than 30 under-served destinations across the Middle East and Africa — such as Kabul, Baghdad, Basra, Erbil, Sulaimaniyah, Asmara, Juba, and Ndjamena.
“Local market expertise is the foundation for business success,” said Larry Coyne, Chief Executive Officer of Coyne Airways. “With its offices in Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Munich, Stuttgart, and Hamburg, and proven sales excellence, we are confident that Mondial will deliver the high-quality response times and customer service levels that our customers expect and deserve. As Coyne Airways continues to expand, Mondial will provide the additional resources necessary to meet growing demand for our freighter services to the Caucasus, Middle East, and Africa.”
Zafer Aggunduz, Chief Commercial Officer at Global GSA Group, added: “To count such an established and unique airline model as Coyne Airways as our latest partner is both an honour and an inspiration for us at Global GSA Group and Mondial Airline Services. Our GSA teams across Germany pride themselves on the entrepreneurial spirit, agility, and product knowledge required to serve as a seamless extension of Coyne Airways in their local markets. We are excited to contribute to Coyne’s continued success.”
Echoing the sentiment, Aytekin Saray, Chief Executive Officer of Global GSA Group, stated: “Coyne Airways is an outstanding example of how flexibility and reliability can be perfectly in tune. With services covering everything from pharmaceuticals to dangerous goods, and connections to some of the most challenging and under-served destinations, operations must be flawlessly managed. Mondial is fully prepared to meet this challenge, turning the seemingly impossible into a reality, in perfect alignment with Coyne’s high standards.”
