Vincent Annunziato joins SASI World as Senior Advisor Customs and Border Security

SASI World, the premier global aviation and air cargo logistics advisory, has announced that Vincent Annunziato has joined the firm as Senior Advisor. Mr. Annunziato transitions to the private sector following a distinguished 29-year career at U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP), where he most recently served as Director of Business Transformation & Innovation.

A globally recognized expert in supply chain modernization, Mr. Annunziato is best known for managing the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) "Single Window" project. His leadership on this $180 million platform resulted in a staggering $2.9 billion in cost savings and a reduction of 11 million processing hours for the trade community and government agencies.

At SASI World, Mr. Annunziato will leverage his expertise in Systems Modernization, and Global Interoperability to help clients navigate the next generation of digital trade. His appointment signals SASI World’s commitment to leading the industry toward a more transparent, technologically advanced global supply chain.

"Vince is a true visionary who has fundamentally changed how the world’s largest customs authority interacts with the global supply chain," said Stan Wraight, President and CEO of SASI World. "His work on ACE 2.0 and his ability to harmonize technology with international trade policy make him an invaluable asset to our clients, particularly as airports and airlines move toward our Smart Cargo Airports™ standards."

During his tenure at CBP, Mr. Annunziato led high-stakes initiatives ranging from the Green Trade Initiative to innovative tracking for Forced Labor (Uyghur) compliance. He has served as the representative for U.S. Customs to the Border 5, APEC, and the World Customs Organization (WCO), positioning him as a rare bridge between government regulatory
frameworks and private sector efficiency.

"I am excited to join the world-class team at SASI World," said Vincent Annunziato. "After nearly three decades in government service focused on trade facilitation and innovation, I look forward to applying those lessons to help SASI World’s clients implement cutting-edge solutions that drive speed, security, and digital transparency in the aviation sector."
