Swissport, a leading global aviation services provider, has appointed Steven Polmans as its Global Senior Vice President Cargo, reporting directly to the Global Cargo Chair.

Bringing more than 20 years of experience in the aviation and logistics industry, Polmans has a distinguished track record in developing and implementing successful cargo strategies. In his new role, he will oversee Swissport’s global cargo operations, drive strategic growth initiatives, and further strengthen the company’s innovation agenda.

Polmans previously spearheaded major cargo transformation programs and is expected to play a pivotal role in enhancing Swissport’s position as a leading global airfreight partner. His leadership will focus on optimizing commercial performance, expanding service excellence, and delivering sustainable value across the global air cargo value chain.
