Lufthansa Cargo Makes Key Changes to Executive Leadership

Lufthansa Cargo has announced key changes to its Executive Board, effective July 1, 2025. The Supervisory Board of Lufthansa Cargo AG has appointed Frank Bauer as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO), while Gregor Schleussner will join the Executive Board as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), and Labor Director.

Frank Bauer, currently serving as CFO and Labor Director of Lufthansa Cargo, will transition into the role of COO. In his new position, he will be responsible for overseeing all operational areas of Lufthansa Cargo. Bauer brings a strong technical background and deep industry knowledge from his years of leadership within the Lufthansa Group.

Joining the Executive Board is Gregor Schleussner, currently Head of Finance, Controlling & Accounting at Eurowings. Schleussner will assume responsibility for Finance, Human Resources, and related functions at Lufthansa Cargo. His portfolio will include Human Resources, Finance & Controlling, Legal, Corporate & Political Affairs, Information Management, and Supply Management & Infrastructure.

Dr. Michael Niggemann, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Lufthansa Cargo AG, commented on the appointments:
