Glasgow Prestwick Airport (PIK) has appointed Jules Matteoni Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective from 1 July 2026, succeeding Ian Forgie, who is retiring after five years in the role. Matteoni, who has worked at the airport for more than 33 years and most recently served as Operations Director, has played a central role in developing PIK's position as a leading UK gateway for international cargo and e-commerce traffic.
"I am looking forward to working with the team at PIK to build on the strong progress we have achieved together," said Jules Matteoni, Chief Executive Officer designate, Glasgow Prestwick Airport. We will continue to strengthen our existing markets while pursuing new opportunities that reflect the airport's unique commercial advantages and strategic position within the UK supply chain.
