HAECO signs multi-year GE90 engine support agreement with National Airlines

HAECO has signed a multi-year GE90 engine support agreement with National Airlines to support the carrier’s GE90-powered Boeing 777F fleet. The agreement further strengthens the partnership between HAECO and National Airlines, building on the line and base maintenance support already established between the two companies.

Under the agreement, HAECO Engine Services (Xiamen) will provide first engine overhauls for National Airlines’ GE90 engines and ongoing in-service support over the contract term, helping to deliver reliable performance and time-on-wing for the airline’s growing freighter operation.

In support of National Airlines’ entry into service of the Boeing 777F fleet, HAECO Hong Kong’s Line Maintenance team will work in close coordination with HAECO Engine Services (Xiamen) to provide responsive technical support, helping to minimise operational disruption and maintain fleet availability.

Sandra Nieuwenhuijzen, Group Director of Component and Engine Services at HAECO, said,

“We are pleased to deepen our relationship with National Airlines with this long-term GE90 support agreement. Our commitment to safety, quality and on-time delivery aligns with National’s operational priorities, and we look forward to supporting National’s 777F operations with our proven GE90 capabilities.”

Jim Casbarro, Vice President Technical Operations at National Airlines, said,

“As we expand our 777F operations, dependable engine support is critical to maintaining schedule integrity for our customers. We value HAECO’s technical expertise and global support network, and we look forward to working together to keep our GE90 engines operating at their best.”
